Errol Dow is an experienced Photographer who is passionate about capturing unique moments from places around the world. He was born and raised in western Washington, and resides in Port Orchard. He began venturing into photography over 60 years ago and has focused on the  fundamentals that make a great photograph: lighting, balance, composition and use of space.   He has traveled extensively in areas of New Zealand, Australia/Tasmania, Central and South America, Ireland, and most of mainland Europe.  Closer to home, these years have been spent hiking in the mountains and boating along the coasts of Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska. These travels have given him access to some of the most remote reaches in our wondrous Pacific Northwest. Over the years he has been able to create a collection of photographs that reflect a lifetime of adventures observing some of the most exquisite places on earth.  Errol would like to share with you here some of this beauty. He composes his images to highlight the way nature shows itself to the naked eye. In order to do this he does not over process, saturate,  sharpen or add contrast to his images in editing.
